Buy us a coffee & get our book report worksheet bundle

October Monthly Update

In 2021, Facebook sent out a notification that this group needed a new leader. My family and I are passionate about homeschooling. All of my siblings and I have been homeschooled by our parents since we were infants.

From the beginning of taking over management of this group, I saw the potential for making a positive impact on the lives of homeschoolers and hoped to be able to help others make the decision to homeschool. Immediately after I started managing the group, I realized I needed help.

Since taking over management of this group, we now receive over 500 participant requests every day. We have grown from 17k to 65k members in a little over a year!

We absolutely love the community that we have built together, focused on helping each other be able to homeschool affordably. So many people who are just considering homeschooling join our group and are convinced within just a few hours of posting.

We are committed to growing this community and making it a valuable resource for all of us to benefit from and grow from together. When it comes to the amount of time it takes to manage this group, we honestly need your help. Our admins and moderators currently spend 3–4 hours a day going through requests, reviewing comments, and posts.

If you benefit from this group and are passionate about its growth, we would be really grateful for anything you could contribute, whether in the form of a donation or by assisting with post moderation.

For those of you who are led to support what we are doing via donations, we have created a Ko-fi page where, if you make small donations, you will receive exclusive rewards.

For the same cost as a cup of coffee, you will receive our 8 book report worksheet bundle! These worksheets will help teach your kids to write better book reports and make it fun. They will learn how to summarize the story, find the theme, identify the four main elements of stories, and more! We have a book report worksheet for elementary, middle grade, and high school students.

If you are interested in supporting what we are doing by volunteering your time and joining our growing team, please send an email to contactus at thehomeschoolrequest dot com, so we can chat! Moderators get access to all the Ko-fi rewards in exchange for volunteering their time to help make the group a great place to be.
